BUDGET AND FINANCE:
determine annual budget by reviewing past income and expenses; create operating budget for monthly continuing education and annual symposium.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
to establish and maintain a program of continuing education and to work in cooperation with the Executive Board.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH:
study all matters pertaining to public health and study all areas of the environment related to the practice of veterinary medicine, and to make necessary recommendations to the Executive Board for action.
ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT:
peer review of cases based upon client concerns; there is no determination of monetary settlement only suggestions made to either party for resolution.
MEMBERSHIP:
work with and assist the Executive Board in the recruitment and retention of SVVMA members.
PUBLIC RELATIONS:
study the relationship between the association and its external environment; it shall be involved with information gathering analysis, internal and external communications, and action programs directed at target groups selected by the Executive Board.
RVT / VETERINARY TECHNICIAN:
establishing and maintaining a professional relationship between the associations and the veterinary technician association; promote the veterinary technician in a professional manner.
WAYS AND MEANS:
review and revise association constitution, policies and procedures and bylaws.
YOUTH:
creating and scheduling of educational programs to schools regarding the veterinary profession.
